Dear aunt of Glenda (Robert) of Sutton-in-Ashfield, England, and Julie (Andrew) of Grantham, England. She will be sadly missed by many friends. Joan was a longtime employee of the provincial government. Jacky and Norm would like to extend their thanks to Maria Falcitelli for being such a wonderful friend to Joan, Dr. M. Kroll and the nursing staff of 2B at the Credit Valley Hospital for their compassionate care, Mum's family physician, Dr. Karen Weyman for her care and kindness over the past 15 years, and to the staff of Erin Mills Lodge, whose extra special care made Mum's stay there a comforting and comfortable experience. A Memorial Service will be held at the Turner & Porter 'Neweduk - Erin Mills' Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. Donations to Osteoporosis Canada or to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
