In 1789 Rev. Isaac Moody Bingham was licenced to Holy Trinity Gosport. At the same time he continued to retain the livings of Birchanger & Runwell, both in Essex. He also kept his appointments as domestic chaplain to the Bishop of London & Canon of Chichester. In 1798 his son Rev. Richard Bingham served him as a curate until 1792 where upon his father's resignation he was formerly licenced as Holy Trinity’s new incumbent.
