Will of Richard Attfield of Windlesham, Surrey, retired farmer, 21 May 1886. To nephew John Henry Attfield (son of my late brother Henry Attfield) one hundred pounds; to nephew Edward Attfield and nieces Elizabeth Attfield and Eleanor the wife of Benjamin Morley (son and daughters of my said late brother Henry Attfield) fifty pounds apiece; household goods furniture plate linen china wearing apparel and other effects in and about my dwelling house at the time of my decease to niece Sarah Attfield (also a daughter of my said late brother Henry Attfield), also a legacy of four hundred pounds, and I devise my messuage garden ground and hereditaments in Dog Kennel Lane in Windlesham which I purchased of Harriet Welsh and mow in my own occupation to the use of my niece Sarah Attfield in fee simple; to my natural son Richard Attfield Houlton two hundred pounds; residue of personal estate subject to payment of debts and funeral expenses to amongst and between George Lovell Charles Lovell and Thomas Lovell (the three sons of my nephew George Lovell) in equal shares at 21 years. Nephew John Henry Attfield and John Benjamin Wheeler of Windlesham coal merchant execs.
