Will of Jonathan Dixon of Whetstone in the Parish of Finchley Middlesex carpenter, 12 Sep 1835. Leasehold houses cottages and tenements in Totteridge Lane and all household goodsand other personal estate and effects to grandson Thomas Dixon who is now living with me for his own absolute use and benefit; I devise the four freehold houses bequeathed to me in the will of my late brother Thomas Dixon adjoining each other and nearly opposite to the Nine Mile Stone at Whetstone to William Rose of Whetstone and of Binfield in the County of Berks Gentleman (exec) upon trust to dispose of the same by public auction and pay the money to my four grandchildren sons and daughters of my eldest son Joseph Dixon namely Thomas Dixon Grace Maria Dixon James Dixon and Elizabeth Dixon or to such as shall be living at the time of my decease in equal shares and proportions when they reach the age of 21.
