The Rev. Francis Ellis, MA, rector of Lasham, co. Hants, and vicar of Long Compton, co. Warwick. Mr Ellis in thus acquiring through his wife Mary Purefoy Jervoise the family estates of the Jervoises, assumed by Royal licence, in March 1848, the additional surname and arms of Jervoise.
