Note: F W Morrell was a crew member in Stirling III No. BU-J of 214 Squadron. Took off 2310 from Chedburgh for mine laying duties in the Nectarines region. Lost without trace. All are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial. At 0220 Hauptmann Franz Buschmann of IV./NJG1 submitted a claim for a Stirling bomber shot down in the area assigned to this crew.
