Will of Catherine Moore of The Close of New Sarum Wilts, spinster, 20 Nov 1831. To friends Thomas Waters of Stratford under the Castle and William Dyke Whitmarsh of New Sarum gentleman my messuages or tenements and gardens in my own occupation and in the occupation of Miss Theodosia Frome and held by lease under the Dean and Chapter of the Cathedral Church of Sarum for a term of 40 years, upon trust for my three nieces Ann Elizabeth and Maria Innes the daughters of my nephew and much valued friend Charles Innes of London deceased, and on their decease upon trust for the youngest son then living of their brother Edward Innes; one thousand pounds capital stock part of my capital stock in the three percent reduced annuities equally between my nephew the Reverend George Innes on Warwick my nieces Maria Hazeland now living at Exeter and Elizabeth Innes now living at Devizes and my great nephew Edward Innes of London son of my said late nephew Charles Innes in the place of his father share and share alike; eight hundred pounds capital stock the other part of my capital stock in the three percent reduced annuities between my nephew John Moore of Worthing and my nieces Elizabeth Biggs of West Tarring in the County of Sussex Rebecca Jennings of London and Susannah Barnes the son and daughters of my late brother Joseph Moore share and share alike; I bequeath to my beloved friend Mrs Elizabeth Hale the interest or dividends of one thousand pounds capital stock in the three percent reduced annuities for life and on her decease to my niece Louisa Hazeland; to my trustees one hundred pounds capital stock in the three percent reduced annuities the dividends of which to accumulate as a fund for renewal of the lease wehich shall be held by my trustees upon the trusts of this will; the further sum of two hundred pounds part of the four hundred pounds owing to me from my great nephew the said Joseph Moore equally between my nephew John Moore and nieces Elizabeth Biggs Rebecca Jennings and Susannah Barnes share and share alike and the interest of the remaining two hundred pounds to his sister Martha Moore and on her decease to the said Joseph Moore; one hundred pounds owing to me from my niece Maria Hazeland equally between her five daughters Maria Elizabeth Sophia Frances and Louisa; forty pounds owing to me from my nephew the Reverend George Innes now out of England to his mother or his youngest sister whichever he may think it most acceptable to; to Thomas Waters and William Dyke Whitmarsh trustees one hundred pounds each; rest and residue of estate to my friend Elizabeth Hale; Elizabeth Hale and niece Louisa Hazeland execs.

Codicil 18 Apr 1833, revoke the eight hundred pounds to John Moore, Elizabeth Biggs, Rebecca Jennings and Susannah Barnes and give one thousand pounds stock in the three percent reduced annuities to the Rev George Innes and Mr Edward Innes of London upon trust to pay the interest and dividends to my afflicted niece Martha Moore daughter of my late brother for life and after her decease to her brothers and sisters; also revoke the legacy to Louisa Hazeland and give the one thousand pounds stock to my dear and beloved friend Elizabeth Hale absolutely; also revoke the appointment of Louisa Hazeland as executrix and nominate Elizabeth Hale as sole exec and residuary legatee.

Proved at London with Codicil 17 Jul 1833 to Betsy (written Elizabeth) Hale spinster the executrix named in the Codicil.
