    Said husband left me on 14th April last at 7 John St Curtain Rd to seek for work and I have not seen or heard from him since. I have been informed that husband is now working for Mr Thomas Lloyd timber slate and coal merchant 9 Broad St Birmingham and Summer Lane Wharf Birmingham and husband lodges at “The Chapel” kept by Charles Bush, 37 Fleet St Birmingham. Husband is a Top Sawyer.

    About 9 weeks after our marriage my said husband hired house situate 2 Beldam Place Black Horse Lane Whetstone in the parish of Friern Barnet Middlesex at the yearly rent of £10:10:0 of Mr Hainge landlord thereof (although John Attfield of Whetstone an auctioneer who is my uncle was the collector of the rents). Husband occupied said house 2½ years – did not pay taxes – no subsequent settlement. My mother Ann Stutchbury now resides in said house. No receipts.

    Elizabeth both 30th August 1835 born in same place and lived in house 9 months after her birth.
