Henry T. Wharton, Master of Arts, Oxford; Member of the Royal College of Surgeons; a Fellow of various medical associations; Honorary Surgeon of Kilburn Dispensary, and of Queen Charlotte's Convalescent Home, &c. He has written various scientific papers on Ornithology, Mushrooms, medical and other subjects; he has likewise published the Life of Sappho, accompanied with a collection of all the extant writings of that celebrated poetess, together with translations thereof.
